Doors

We offer glass doors in both single and double glazed options depending on our acoustic requirements.

Single glazed doors provide a seamless minimal effect and are 900mm wide and are supplied full height unless an over panel is required to meet the technical specification of the door. Constructed from toughened glass, they come complete with 600mm satin stainless-steel (SSS) back-to-back D handles top pivot, corner floor spring, and floor door stop. Lever locking handles with Euro cylinder thumb turn, surface mounted floor closers, Manet pull handles and a full range of other ironmongery options are available upon request.

Frameless doors have a physical gap around them and if the acoustics are important, we would recommend using a frameless door within an aluminium slimline door frame.

Double glazed doors are also available providing improved acoustic performance up to 46dB and come complete with a full range of optional ironmongery available upon request.

Timber Veneered Doors

If glazed doors do not meet your design criteria, consider the natural aesthetic look of solid timber doors in either aluminium, MDF, or solid wood frames as an alternative. All our frames offer a seamless transition to the glass partition system.

Using affiliated suppliers who recognise the fast-track requirements of your project, we can offer a wide range of veneers and laminated door options. We can also provide a full range of ironmongery to suit your package.

Expandable Aluminium Door Frames

If you are looking to fit doors into existing walls, we can provide aluminium expandable door frames to suit both glass and timber doors to match wall thicknesses from 74mm to 200mm.

If you are looking for a glass office partition to achieve an acoustic performance the guide below gives indicative levels of what can be achieved using configurations of glass thicknesses in single or double glazed applications.

There are many factors that can affect the performance of a partition wall including flanking sound traveling above a suspended ceiling, air grills, conditioning ductwork, and transition details between walls. Most tested systems will tend to perform up to 5dB better in a test environment than in an installation. Please contact our experienced staff who will be pleased to provide assistance.
